The Olympus Academy Trust in Bradley Stoke, Bristol, tasked us with the construction of a new open plan toilet facility within a closed off tired existing toilet block.
The existing toilet block was cleared out and stripped back to the bare structure to create new open plan toilets with cubicles formed from new blockwork walls with marine plywood and white rock, along with IPS paneling. We installed toilets, veneered door sets, troughs, new flooring and ceilings. New LED lighting controlled via infra-red sensors were fitted. This low energy set-up means lights are only activated when a user enters the room, automatically switching off after a set period of time.
All works were completed on time and to budget. The project was carried out in a live environment ensuring that key issues being noise, dust & segregation from children and teachers were dealt with safely whilst minimising disruption to the everyday running of the school.
...proactive during the design phase, their performance on site and site supervision has been exemplary, with a very high level of interaction and office support from their Project Managers.
